White eyes glanced around the forest of undisturbed territory. She could hear the winter birds singing and the crunching noise of her own paws against the snow. The naked trees were hiding themselves in sheets of snow as if they were modeling for someone eyes but unfortunately, all this female could see is darkness. This female was blind. The smell of winter over took everything else. No one had stepped on these lands for a long time. A smile pulled over her ghostly lips as her tail wagged. Frozen tears fell over the land as well as herself much made the shadowy female have ghostly spots along her coat. A right paw stepped forward before it knocked into a dead tree. Her pad slid across the icy wood then over it to see how thick it was. Before taking her time to hop over it, the female felt to see if the bark was gone. It didn't seem to have lost any of it under the snow.
Eve, the female, kept her skull straight as her body turned slightly. Her ears twitched with the silence of fallen snow. It seemed that she was still alone in these wintry lands. She had ventured around a bit more to find this place to be perfect. It had obstacles for her to get around and in the summer and spring she had enough trees to attract her favorite sounds. This place would feel like home to her even though she couldn't see how it really looked like. The female shook her figure since the snow was seeping through her coat like water. Padding on, her paws felt a more unstable land like an edge of something. Curiously, she stepped forward to find ice from a stream. Pleased, she placed more pressure on the ice to find it cracking under her pads. Removed, Eve padded away to follow her paw prints.
Quite satisfied with the territory, Eve paused in what she thought would be a comfortable place to lay down. Though she stood there and sniffed around once more. Loneliness was the only thing that replied to her search of the living. "I now claim this land as my own." Eve spoke aloud before raising her skull to the high heavens. Baring her fangs out, a song escaped her jaws to make it real. She now own this land and would rule with her blind eyes. The female walking in a circle to push all the snow away then crept low to the frozen ground before laying down.

Largo peered at the landscape through emerald eyes. He had been searching for the Forest Pack's lands, and if he wasn't mistaken, these were those lands. There were enough trees for to be. And if it was not, then he would just feel stupid later. Then, as he was observing the area to make sure there were no “zombies” as he called them, he noticed another wolf. The sound of paws touching the fresh snow caused his ears to twitch as they focused on this other presence.
Unfortunately, all he could smell was snow. It was pretty cold out, even if he did have a thick winter coat, and he could go for finding a warm place to lay down. As he watched this wolf, he noticed her paw collide with a tree, making him tilt his head. What was she? Blind? Then it hit him. That was it. The zombies must have blinded her with their evil, tormenting ways so that she would have to deal with life as no wolf should ever have to deal with it. But then he watched her get over the tree, and he thought that she must have had this done to her a long time ago for her to be that good.
Largo tilted his ears forward and focused on trying to hear if this wolf would say anything. After hearing it declare a claim for the lands, he could tell it was a female. Oh, no, what was he going to do? The zombies had gotten a female blind. As he thought these crazy things, her howl split the air, and he jumped backward out of surprise. He made a note to himself to start paying more attention.
After seeing her lay down, he carefully made his way over to her, not sure what kind of wolf she was. He assumed neutral, since these were neutral lands, but zombies were deceptive little creatures. Once he was sure that she would be able to hear him, though, he swallowed back his fear of her maybe being a zombie and said, “Hello, Miss... Um... Cold, isn't it?[/b]”
He was quite the failure at conversations.

Her ears twisted at the sound of another around her. Why didn't she pick it up sooner? Eve only really turned her skull when the voice of a male wolf echoed in her acute ears. "Why yes. Yes it is." she answered simply. Her blind eyes seem to gaze past the male like he wasn't there or just a voice in wind. Her sweet nature took over as she stood up. Her skull was held high with her tail up to show her domanit state even though she was blind it was all for show. "Would you like to help me find shelter? I'm sure there is an old bear den around somewhere." the female continued as she padded up to him. While her skull was high she sniffed the freezing air for information on the new male.
"Oh, where are my manners?" the female sighed to herself like she was disappointed, "I'm Eve and the new Alphess of these lands." There was a smile across her faded jaw. Her tail wagged slightly from her wonderful mood. She took another sniff from him as her ears twisted. Of course Eve had no idea what this male could look like but she was trying to make out if he was safe or not. Anyone could attack her if they knew all of her blind spots and the female would be helpess. The female searched for signs that he would be alright. The sound of winter birds were close to them like they felt comfortable with the wolves there. No Danger. She sighed in relief then stepped back to see if they would move. The birds stayed rested in the naked trees. "We could follow the wind and it'll point out the den for us." Eve pointed out.

Largo bowed his head, even if he was pretty sure she couldn't see it. “I'll gladly help you find shelter,” he answered, then lifted his head to look her over for a moment. She certainly had an interesting coat color. More original than his, for sure. But he was thinking about unimportant matters again, and shook his head as a small bit of snow fell from the shuffling of a bird.
Smiling, his head lowered and his tongue licked one of her paws. It has just been what he had seen his mother do before. He wasn't sure if it was a real custom or just because his family was weird. “It's a pleasure to meet you, Alphess Eve. I am Largo, a wolf of neutral alliance,” he told her in the most polite voice he could manage. He hadn't needed it for a while, since he had been on his own without contact with an alpha for a while. That made him think he should really start using that voice around other wolves, too.
“Right!” he said, feeling a breeze ruffle through his fur. It was seriously cold out there, and his winter coat wasn't completely grown out yet. But he turned toward the direction it flowed, only to pause, remembering he suspected she was blind. He then looked at her, and questioned, “Um, this might sound rude, but you're blind, aren't you?”
He didn't want it to seem offending or anything, but he couldn't help but ask her that. Otherwise he would forget and would go too far ahead of her and lose her. He had nearly just done that, and if he ever wanted to become part of this pack, he needed to have a longer attention span, and also a better memory. Being scatterbrained wasn't the best thing for him to be if he was going to do anything. Hopefully he could be a scout or something. Then, even if something caught his attention, he'd still have a view of the area. Besides, he had good memory when dark wolves were around.
